| WINES PRODUCED AND CULTIVATED IN THE
FAMILY "KONOBA" OF IVE BATISTIC ZURE The Batistic-Zure family lives in the exotic village of Lumbarda, situated at the
eastern edge of Korcula. Lumbarda (the continuity of the village goes back to the Hellenic
times (4th to 5th centuries B.C.) has been known from ancient times for its production of
high quality white grapes, the autochthonous sort Grk, which can grow only in the loose
Lumbarda sand, absorbing the primaeval strength of the sun shining in this unique
ambience.

"Grk Bartul" - a dry
white wine produced and cultivated in the family cellar of Ive Batistic Zure; obtained
from the manually processed autochthonous sort of grapes called Grk; it contains 12.6% of
alcohol, and it is filled in the bottles of 0.75 litres, vintage 1999. We suggest to
consume it with fish, shells and crabs prepared according to the recipes of the family
restaurant "Zure". |
"Zure
Plavac Mali" - a dry red wine produced and cultivated in the family cellar of Ive
Batistic Zure; obtained from the manually processed well-known sort of grapes called
Plavac Mali; it contains 13.5% of alcohol, and it is filled in the bottles of 0.75 litres,
vintage 1998. It goes excellently with the specialities of the family restaurant
"Zure" and especially with stewed savory octopus, and Dalmatian
"brodet" (fish stew - brodetto), and best of all - with baked quails. |
